Paintistanbul 2026 in Numbers

Recognized as one of the leading international events for the global paints and coatings industry, valued at USD 246.7 billion, Paintistanbul was held for the eighth time on 17-19 June 2026. The exhibition hosted 619 exhibiting companies and company representatives from 43 countries and welcomed 10,376 industry professionals from 93 countries, including nearly 3,000 international visitors.

Industry Outlook

The Paint Industry in Türkiye

The Turkish paint industry has undergone significant development over the past decade. Türkiye is the fifth largest paint producer in Europe and is advancing toward becoming an internationally influential sectoral power in its region. With an annual production capacity of approximately 800,000 tons, the industry’s capacity utilization rate stands at around 65%. Water-based paints account for 55% of production and solvent-based paints for 45%; about 35% of raw materials are domestically sourced. Approximately 600 companies operate in Türkiye’s paint industry, supplying integrated products particularly for automotive, construction, general industrial coatings, and wood and furniture paints.
