BOSAD completed its establishment as a professional organization in July 2003, starting with 9 founding members, and has grown to more than 130 members as of the end of 2025. Representing approximately 85% of the Turkish paint industry, BOSAD serves as the umbrella organization of the sector.
The Turkish paint industry is a regional powerhouse and the fifth-largest sectoral producer in Europe, with world-class production quality, substantial capacity, advanced technological capabilities, strong regulatory compliance, and well-established brands.
BOSAD’s main activities include fostering collective action to address the challenges faced by the paint industry; representing the sector before public authorities and on international platforms; organizing trade fairs, conferences, seminars, workshops, and panels; preparing sectoral studies and reports; developing data-driven insights and solutions through 15 working groups comprising more than 150 experts; monitoring legislative and regulatory developments; and developing projects with key stakeholders, including TİM, TKSD, İKMİB, İSO, İTO, İMSAD, TOBB, TÜSİAD, and universities.
